We’ve partnered with Rutherford’s Punting so you can enjoy a Cambridge punting tour on one of their classic shared punts and see this exclusive side of Cambridge at an affordable price.
Take in not only the magnificent University of Cambridge buildings but also some of the city’s most beautiful sights including the Bridge of Sighs and Mathematical Bridge, as well as private gardens only visible from the river.
Rutherford’s Shared Punting Tours depart every 30 minutes from 9.30 until dusk throughout the year. Tours leave from Jesus Green in Cambridge and last approximately 50 minutes.
The shared tour tickets are priced by the number of people in your party up to a maximum of six people. Tickets are for entire seated rows in a punt. Rows can accommodate up to three people comfortably and are separated from each other by a clear perspex screen – allowing for social distancing without impacting on visibility.
All tickets must be booked in advance. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
On the day, head to the Rutherford’s desk at Jesus Green Moorings, just 2 minutes along the Quayside Boardwalk, CB5 8AQ.
The team will call you to the moorings so that you can safely board your boat.
